County Roads

Our Duties:Â
Carlisle Township services over 29 miles of roadway. Our duties include

Maintaining the Community Park on Diagonal Road

Maintaining the Murray Ridge Road Cemetery and the LaPorte Cemetery, including burials, headstones, and mowing

Roadside mowing three times a year

Maintain all of the roadside drainage which includes:

ditch cleaning​

driveway pipe
-
tile replacement, repair and upgrades

Install, repair, and replace signs

Berm work, pothole patching, road repairs and improvements including:

asphalt work​
-
crack sealing
-
chip sealing
-

We maintain all of our equipment in-house ourselves when possible.

We do not pick up limbs or brush. We do have a leaf pickup program in the fall that runs through a set date posted in the Rural Urban Record, as well as being posted on our website.
