The Wreaths Across America visited the Carlisle Township Veterans Memorial on a cold and windy Saturday, December 17, 2022 afternoon. Members and guest of the Carlisle Township Veterans Memorial Committee placed wreathes at the newly-constructed memorial in honor of those brave men and women who are remembered for their sacrifice for our country. The veterans participoating in the ceremony pictured were Tom Gallagher, Ray Hildebrandt, Kyle Smith, Roger Ormiston, Michael Baird, Bill Biskup and Larry Stevenus.
A formal dedication ceremony for the memorial is scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2023. The committee continues to sell personalized commemorative bricks for permanent installation at the memorial. Bricks can be purchased by contacting Ray Hildebrandt at 440-458-5814.
