An article in the Ohio Township Association's 'Ohio Township News' magazine featured Carlisle Township in their Nov/Dec 2022 Issue. In the magazine's "Townships In The News: A look at what's happening in townships around the state!", the article "Carlisle Township Celebrates 200 Years" detailed the September 10th Community and Family Fun Day. The article detailed the various activities including the old-time skills demonstrations, wagon rides, coloring contest and the other family oriented activities, musical acts, craft and food vendors. The magazine is distributed statewide to trustees, fiscal officers, administrator assistants, and zoning inspectors in Ohio's 1,308 townships.
